Meji Temple

It was another quite day in the city of Tokyo, no shouting, no honking, no noise. The sun was shining without a cloud in the sky. We were taking a trip down to the Meji Temple which, having previously seen pictures, my expectations were high. They were more than met, everything about the park and the Temple was just devine, like something out of movie, I still can't believe I was actually there. Walking through all the pillars, cleaning our hands and looking at all the lanterns was breath taking. We knew to look out for wedding ceremonies in the courtyard, so we waited around but not waiting for long, a flurry of people all dressed up began to walk across. In no time at all the rich red parasol was lifted up over the bride. She looked beautiful. We stayed to watch and spotted what looked like two little bridesmaids dressed in fairy tale costumes. The whole experience was just beyond magical.
