Snowy Gloves

With all the snow it has been really difficult to get outside but my friend becky lives in the village next over to mine. She managed to get over to mine and we went to the Church Yard to have a little play. We wrapped up as warm as possible in scarves, hats and gloves and had home made cookies when we got home. We made snow angels, drew hearts and jumped around in the snow like school children. I hope you all had a lovely Christmas!!! I will be showing you this week what I got for christmas, although its mostly homewear as I am officially moving down to Borough, London on the 7th Jan :)

Fairytale of New York

Happy Christmas Eve! I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas! This was taken just outside my house as my mum refused to leave the house. I've been trying to wear as much red and christmas inspired outfits as I possibly can this week to try and get into the Festive Spirit! I have made a Christmas playlist on itunes that is keeping me company today while I work from home. My top five favourite songs are;

1. Leona Naess - Christmas
2. Death Cab for Cutie - Christmas (please come home)
3. Jimmy Eat World - Last Christmas
4. Kevin Devine - Splitting up Christmas
5. The Eals - Christmas is going to the dogs

A snow faced girl

I was a bit too excited when the light snow started to turn into more of a blizzard. It was sooo freezing cold outside and the snow was too wet to stay outside and take photos. It was much nicer inside with a cup of tea, warmth and slippers :) I have been stuck in my house for almost 3 days with my drive being a slight hill and edging onto a main road it wasn't safe to leave. I went back to work today ...  Freedom :)

Little Red Riding Hood

Just like the rest of England I am snowed in and wrapping up very warm over the weekend. Traveling to work has been made difficult as well as practically walking on sheets of ice. I have not fallen over ... yet! I need to make it my priority now to buy some boots that actually have grip! The shops have been less busy which has made christmas shopping easier and more enjoyable :) This is my favourite coat I have ever owned. I bought it on a cold winter day in New York two years ago and have still not wanted to replace it. It keeps me warm, it provides colour in winter and its a lovely fit!
